Policies

We believe that clear communication helps create a positive and effective therapeutic experience. This information outlines important policies regarding appointments, communication, cancellations, and other office procedures.

Clients also receive these policies through the TherapyNotes client portal during the intake process. We have included them here as a convenient reference for current and prospective clients.

Paperwork

To make the most of each session, all intake paperwork must be completed at least 24 business hours before the first appointment. This allows your provider to review the information in advance and prepare.

2

Arriving on Time

Each appointment time is reserved specifically for the client. Please arrive on time so the full session can be used effectively. Appointments cannot be extended past the scheduled end time.

3

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We have a cancellation policy of 24  business hours. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a $100 cancellation fee.

4

Consistency of Care

Therapy works best with regular attendance. Frequent missed or late-cancelled appointments may result in discontinuation of services.

5

Telehealth

If you are using telehealth services, please ensure you are in a private, quiet space with a reliable internet connection.

6

In Case of Emergency

If you find yourself in a crisis which needs immediate attention, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

If your services are covered by Medicaid and you are a patient of Dr. Savard, Jenna Lavoie, or Brittanie Hassler who needs to speak with your provider before the next business day, please call our office at (910) 444-8871 to obtain after-hours contact numbers.
