About Brittanie

Brittanie Hassler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who began her career in Maryland as a substance abuse counselor before earning her Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

Brittanie works with adults, adolescents, and college-aged clients. She also provides affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals and supports clients working through behavioral health and recovery-related concerns.

Approach

Her clinical background includes training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, substance use counseling, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She integrates these approaches to help clients understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful change.

Brittanie’s style is collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on emotional safety, clarity, and practical progress. She works to ensure clients feel understood while building tools they can use in daily life.

Outside the office 

Brittanie enjoys spending time outdoors, including biking, hiking, and exploring national parks. She also has a strong appreciation for music and occasionally brings her guitar into the office when clients request a creative element in sessions.
